Terms And Conditions
1. Definitions
- The Company: Refers to National MOT Training Centre, the trading name of LINDLE & BANISON MANAGEMENT LTD, registered in England and Wales (Reg No: 16057480).
- The Client: The individual or organization making the booking.
- The Delegate(s): The person(s) attending the course.
- The Course: A specific training program or series of programs outlined in our brochure, website, or proposal.
2. Bookings
All bookings must follow the company’s enrollment process. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a fully completed booking form and payment in full. Delegates are required to confirm their details within 24 hours after receiving the booking form to avoid a £20 admin fee for changes. Delegates must meet specific requirements, including having four years of motor industry experience, a valid Level 3 certificate (for DVSA-related courses), and proficiency in the English language. False declarations or invalid licenses will lead to immediate expulsion without refund.
3. Payment
All payments, including deposits, must clear before certification is issued. Deposits are non-refundable. Courses must be completed within one year to retain eligibility for certification or refund.
4. Cancellation
- By the Company: The company reserves the right to cancel courses with at least 7 days’ notice. Full refunds will be provided in such cases.
- By the Client: Written cancellation is required, and fees may apply based on the cancellation timing:
- Less than 10 working days: 100% fee.
- 11–20 working days: 50% fee.
Rebooking within 10 days will incur a 50% fee.
5. Refunds
Refunds, once agreed, will be processed within 14 working days.
6. Force Majeure
The company will not be liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control, including war, fire, strike, or natural disasters.
7. Conduct
Delegates must adhere to the code of conduct. Cheating, poor behavior, or breaking agreements will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
8. Substitution
A qualified substitute may attend in place of a delegate before the course starts, subject to the company’s approval.
9. Quality Assurance
Trainers and assessors will ensure professional, high-standard delivery of courses.
10. Materials and Equipment
All necessary materials and equipment are provided during the course. The company is not liable for delegates’ personal belongings.
11. Copyright
Course materials are the company’s intellectual property and must not be copied or shared without written permission.
12. Delegates’ Liability
Clients are responsible for delegates’ conduct on the premises and will indemnify the company for any damage or injury caused.
13. Limit of Liability
The company’s liability is limited to the course fee, excluding death or personal injury claims.
14. Final Observation (VT8) and Practical Assessments
- Delegates must adhere to safety requirements, including wearing safety boots and overalls.
- Final observation schedules are non-negotiable. Failure to attend or meet requirements will result in cancellation without refund.
15. Homework and Resits
Free resits are only available if homework is completed and passed before the exam. Failing homework will incur a £200 resit fee per failed exam.
16. Data Protection
Nationwide MOT Training Centre is committed to safeguarding personal data under GDPR standards.
